Obituary
Archie B. Isackson
Archie Bernard Isackson, 84, Tavistock, formerly Wyndmere, N.D., died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004, in Stratford (Ontario) General Hospital.
Mr. Isackson was born May 29, 1920, near Colfax, N.D. He attended school in Wahpeton, N.D. He moved near Colfax. He married Florence Blumer on April 8, 1940, in Breckenridge, Minn. They farmed near Colfax. He worked for Galchutt (N.D.) Oil and Owen Myhre's Station, Abercrombie, N.D. He also worked as a carpenter. She died in 1980. He retired in 1983. He married Harriet Rhodenbaugh on Oct. 1, 1983, in Wyndmere, where they lived. They spent their winters in Brownsville, Texas, and summers in Otter Tail, Minn. She died in 1996. In 1998, he married Hildegard Koch. They lived in Picton, Ontario.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Gary (Gail), Kansas City, Mo.; a daughter, Joyce (John) Haverland, Perham, Minn.; one stepson, Mitch Rhodenbaugh, Wyndmere; three sisters, Pearl Lee, June (Reuben) Johnson, both Fargo, Lois (Harlan) Zarling, Torrington, Wyo.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday from 10 to 11 in Wyndmere Lutheran Church.
Funeral: Monday at 11 in the church.
Burial: Fairview Memorial Gardens, Wahpeton.
