Frieda Jasmer
Funeral services for Frieda Minnie (Mrs. Charles R.) Jasmer, 67, Wahpeton, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Edward J. Rutter officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Jasmer died Tuesday at St. Francis Hospital, Breckenridge.
Visitation wil be Friday afternoon and evening and Saturday until 11 a.m. at Vertin's Wahpeton Funeral Home chapel. There will be at prayer service Friday at 8 p.m. There will also be visitation one hour prior to services at the church.
Frieda Medenwaldt was born July 23, 1907 at Hankinson to William and Alvina (Hoefs) Medenwaldt. She was raised there and attended local schools.
She married Charles R. Jasmer March 27, 1924 at Hankinson, where the couple lived until moving to Wahpeton in 1953. Her husband died Oct. 7, 1966 and she continued to live in Wahpeton. She has resided at the Wahpeton Rehabilitation Center for the past eight months.
She was a member of the Immanuel Luther Church in Wahpeton.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Orin (Jeanette) Medenwald of Lidgerwood and Mrs. Fred (Yvonne) Bagg of Brooklyn Center, Minn.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one step-granddaughter, Susan Bagg of Downey, Calif.; a brother, Rudolph; and a sister, Mrs. Fred (Esther) Roeder of Hankinson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and three sisters.
Arrangements were with Vertin's Wahpeton Funeral Home.
