FORMER BRECKENRIDGE WOMAN BURIED YESTERDAY
Mrs. Ira Johnson, Formerly of Breckenridge, was Buried at Fairview Cemetery Yesterday
Funeral services were held yesterday from the Schmitt & Olson chapel for Mrs. Laura Alice Johnson, formerly of Breckenridge. Rev. H. W. Knowles, pastor of the Methodist church of Breckenridge officiated, and burial was made in the Fairview cemetery along side of the body of her son, Paul, who was buried there five years ago, being the second of the flu victims of the fall's epidemic.
The deceased lived in Breckenridge for 3 years, while her husband was employed on the police force of that city, the family leaving there about five years ago, living for a time at Staples and later near Wadena, Minn., where they were at the time of her death.
Mrs. Laura Alice Johnson was 50 years, 3 months and 29 days old at the day of her death. She leaves to mourn her death her husband, Ira Johnson, five sons and one daugthter. They are: August, Ellis, Earl and Grover who live at home, and Ferris and Hazel (Mrs. Harry Wood) of Platte, S. D. All of these together with her son-in-law Harry Wood were present at the funeral.
