Obituary
Mrs. T. Jacobson, 73, Wahpeton, Dies Today
Funeral Services will be held for Mrs. Theodore (Laura) Jacobson, 73, Wahpeton at the Vertin’s-Wahpeton Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Thursday.
She died Monday (today) at her home.
Mrs. Jacobson was born, June 1, 1890 in Abercrombie Township, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Einar Wold. She married Theodore Jacobson October 15, 1915, near Abercrombie and they farmed near Galchutt until 1942 when they moved to Wahpeton.
Mrs. Jacobson had been in ill health for the past several years.
She is survived by her husband six children, Mrs Hjalmer (Bernice) Holm, Pennock, Minn., Lyman of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Mirko (Thelma) Podgornik, Milwaukee, Wisc., Donal of Wahpeton, Mrs. Ralph (Rose) Krebs, Eureka, S.D. and Dale of DesMoines, Ia. She leaves 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters: Mrs Able (Elnora) Merchant, Mrs Sylvia Braaten, Modesta, Calif. and Mrs John (Lily) Jancobson, Sherman Oaks, Calif.
Rev. Loyal Golf will officiate. Mrs. F. D. Brown is the organist and Art Azure vocalist.
Interment will be at Fairview Memorial Cemetery.
