Obituary
Harold Jacobson Services Held Today in Breckenridge
Funeral services for Harold L. Jacobson of Breckenridge, will be held at the Breckenridge Lutheran Church today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. with Rev. P. A. Gisvold officiating.
Mr. Jacobson, a former Wahpeton resident, died Monday at his home in Breckenridge. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Garden Cemetery, Wahpeton.
Born near Rutland, N. D., March 21, 1904, Mr. Jacobson grew to young manhood on his parents farm at Veblen, S. D. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. When he was a young man, he came to Wahpeton, working for the old Twin City Creamery and later associated with I. E. Lillegard Co. in Wahpeton as a salesman. He began working for the Great Northern Railroad in 1941 and continued with the railroad until 1961. Since 1961 he has been in the real state and apartment business in Breckenridge.
He was a member of the Breckenridge Lutheran Church and the Order of Railway Conductors.
Besides his wife, Selma, he leaves one son, Robert of Cherokee, Ia.; one daughter, Mrs. Ed (Jean) Pisarski of Minneapolis; five grandchildren; five brothers, Phillip of Veblen Joseph of Woodburn, Ore., and Sievert of Vancouver, Wash.; and two sisters, Mrs. Thomas (Stella) Hoveland of Woodburn, Ore., and Mrs. Ted (Vivian) Wassen of Minneapolis.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
