Obituary
Mrs. H. Jacobson, 68, Richland Resident, Dies
Mrs. Hjalmer (Agnes) Jacobson, 68, lifelong Richland county resident, died Monday at St. Francis Hospital, Breckenridge. She had been in failing health the past three years.
Funeral services were held this afternoon (Thursday) at Vertin’s-Wahpeton Chapel, Walter Jardine officiating. Interment was at Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Jacobson was born Nov 6, 1894 at Galchutt, the daughter of Charles and Julia Brandon and attended local schools.
She was married to Hjalmer Jacobson May 12, 1922. They farmed in the Galchutt area until 1942 when they moved to Wahpeton, where they have since lived. Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Harry J. (Gloria) Anderson, Wahpeton; Mrs. Richard (Virginia) Peterson and Mrs. Charles E. (Donna) Anderson, Fergus Falls and five grandchildren. Two sisters, Miss Emma Brandon, Wahpeton, and Mrs. Sidnay (Anna) Chandler, Masefield, Sask., also survive. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Mrs. F. D. Brown was organist. Pallbearers were Andrew Slotten, Carl Wold, Eddie Wold, Robert Peterson, Arnold Rasmussen and Sam Aarestad.
