Ed. Klingbeil Services Here on Wednesday
Edward E. Klingbeil, 49, district manager of of Ottertail Power Co., at Rugby and former resident of this county, died suddenly Sunday at Rugby.
Last rites will be conducted at Vertin Funeral Chapel here Wednesday at two o’clock with burial in the family lot in Fairview Cemetery.
Services are to be Tuesday in the Methodist Church at Langdon.
Born at Lidgerwood April 29, 1906, he moved to Wahpeton with his parents when a boy. He attended grade and a high school here, the State School of Science and Dakota Business School at Fargo.
He farmed at Dalton, Minn., for two years before going to work for the Ottertail Power Co., at Kidder plant here. Later he was transferred to Ottertail plants at Jamestown and Langdon before moving to Rugby four years ago.
He is survived by his wife the former Eva Poissant of Devils Lake; a son Robert, a student at the Medical school at the University of North Dakota; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Krause and Mrs. R. H. Stein, both of Wahpeton; and a brother, Herman of Seattle, Wash. His parents preceded him in death his mother in 1950.
