Obituary
Tillie Krueger
Tillie Krueger, 69, Breckenridge, died Wednesday at St. Francis Hospital, Breckenridge. The funeral service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Breckenridge Lutheran Church, the Rev. Eugene Floistad officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens, Wahpeton.
Visitation will be Friday afternoon and evening beginning at 2 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service at the Joseph Vertin and Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge, and at the church for the hour prior to the service.
Tillie Rolin was born Aug. 24, 1910 at Meadows Township, near Rothsay, Minn., the daughter of John and Mary (Nelson) Rolin. She grew up there and attended local school. She married George Krueger June 29, 1927 at Barnesville. They farmed near Wolverton and later moved to a farm north of Breckenridge. She has been a resident of the Wahpeton Health Care Center the past four years.
She was a member of the Breckenridge Lutheran Church and the American Lutheran Church Women.
She is survived by her husband, a daughter and two sons, Mrs. James (Beverly) Gorder, Elgin, Minn.; Arlyn, Dilworth, Minn.; Marvin, Breckenridge; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and four sisters, Mabel Rolin, and Esther Cartrite, both of Wahpeton; Mrs. Paul (Florence) Thompson, Greensburgh, Ind.; and Mrs. Gerhard (Edna) Hektner, Pelican Rapids, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.
