Obituary
Mrs. Fred Kingdon, Funeral Services Set for Friday
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday for Mrs. Fred W. (Marie) Kingdon 73, at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Rev Richard Teuscher officiating.
Mrs. Kingdom of Wahpeton died Thursday in a local hospital.
Mrs. Kingdom was born March 6, 1891 at Cullom, Ill., and received a teaching certificate from Northwestern University. She taught at Cullom and in Wavery, Ia., She was married in July 9, 1924. The couple farmed near LaMars township until 1940 and then moved to Wahpeton. She was active in church work and was the church organist.
She leaves her husband, a son, Frederick of Newark Del; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Mathilda) Sybram, Madison, Wis.; and three sisters, Miss Martha Reinhard, Cuero, Texas., Mrs. William (Augusta) Sierrenberg, Chatsworth, Ill., and Mrs. Andrew, (Min) Hohn. Cuero, Texas and eight grandchildren.
Interment will be in Christen Gardens Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be George Holthusen, Walter Holthusen, Clarence Hooge, Kenneth Sanders and Fred Mahler.
