Obituary
Agnes E. Krueger
Agnes E. Krueger, 79, Wahpeton, died Sunday night at St. Francis Hospital, Breckenridge. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:30 at the United Church of Christ, Wahpeton, the Rev. Stephen Hanning officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens, Wahpeton.
Visitation is this afternoon and evening (Tuesday) and Wednesday morning at Vertin's-Wahpeton Funeral Home West Chapel. There will also be visitation one hour prior to services at the church.
Agnes Roeder was born Nov. 30, 1899 at Hankinson, the daughter of Julius and Lena (Jastrow) Roeder. She attended rural schools and married Oscar Krueger Oct. 11, 1932 at Hankinson. They farmed a short time in the New Effington, S.D. area. They returned to Hankinson and retired in 1957. He died Nov. 22, 1971. In 1972, she moved to the Leach Home, Wahpeton, and has been a resident of the Wahpeton Rehabilitation Center since 1975.
She was a member of the United Church of Christ, Wahpeton.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Ruth) Westby, Wahpeton; two brothers, Arthur Roeder, Hankinson, and Arnold Roeder, Minneapolis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters and two brothers.
Casket bearers will be Marlin Buckhaus, Gene Rossow, Allen Prochnow, Gerald Krueger, Paul Buckhaus and Herbert Prochnow.
