Edna Lacy-1904
Edna Lacy Dead Edna Lacy, niece of Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Lacy, died in St Francis hospital yesterday morning at 6:30 o’clock, after an illness lasting five weeks. She was taken to the hospital about five weeks ago suffering with typhoid. The illness took a serious turn after a few days, other complications set in and the young girl suffered greatly nearly the whole time. She made a brave fight for life but the struggle was too unequal and the little body was forced to give in at last.
Edna was fifteen years old February 22nd, last. For several years she has lived with her aunt and uncle to whom she was like a daughter. She was a very bright girl, of a happy disposition, and will be greatly missed by her many school friends. The funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Congregational church.
