Mrs. Thea Larson Wilkin Pioneer Dies on Saturday
Funeral Service To be Conducted Here by rev. Wisnaes On Tuesday Afternoon at 2:30
Mrs. Thea Larson, pioneer resident of Wilkin county, died Saturday afternoon at three o’clock at her home a mile east of Breckenridge. She had lived near Breckenridge for the past eleven years and before that resided 11 years north of Breckenridge on a farm. Funeral services will be conducted from the home at two o’clock Tuesday afternoon and 2:30 from the Immanuel Lutheran church in Wahpeton. Rev. J. C. Wisnaes will conduct the services and burial will be in the Fairview cemetery here.
Mrs. Larson was born in Norway July 7, 1863, and came to this country when a child. She was married 50 years ago to Ole Larson at Fargo and came to Wilkin county to live in 1899. Mr. Larson passed away 2 years ago.
She is survived by her children, Emily, Peter, William, Melvin. Mrs. Clark Hanson Geneva, Mrs. Lloyd Hanson, Ethel, all of Breckenridge, and Clifford of Hickson, Minn. One brother, T. B. Bordrud, lives at Kindred.
