Funeral For Mrs. Ed. Larson Friday
Former Dwight Lady is Accident Victim
Funeral services for Mrs. Edward Larson formerly of Dwight will be held Friday afternoon from the Vertin Funeral Home in Wahpeton at 2:00 p.m. Mr. Walter Jardine will officiate. Burial will be made in the Fairview Cemetery here in Wahpeton.
Mrs. Edward Larson went to Seattle, Washington with her husband about eight months ago where she and her husband had been working in the Associated shipyards. Monday night she was struck by an automobile and died shortly afterward. She was brought to WahpetonThursday where she lies in State at the Vertin Funeral Home.
Mrs. Edward Larson, nee Anna Marie Gustafson, was born in Stockholm, Sweden, December 7, 1892. She came to America with her parents. She was married to Edward Larson in Fargo, N. Dak. in June 1917. They settled and lived in Dwight since their marriage. They had operated the Dwight Hotel for many years.
She leaves to mourn, her husband, Edward one daughter Mrs. April Johnson, two sons, Harold Larson of Jefferson City, Tennessee and Millard Larson of Seattle Washington. One daughter Gloria died in infancy. Her parents and brothers and sisters also preceded her in death. She also leaves to mourn a host of very dear friends in and around Dwight.
