Obituary
Mrs. P. Larson Funeral Monday
The funeral for Mrs. Peter (Carrie) Larson, 84, was held Monday (today) in the Breckenridge Lutheran Church. The Rev. Reuben Mellum officiated. Organist was Mrs. Charles Davis and vocalist was Mr. George Effinger. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Mark Marznowski, Raymond Marznowski, Ervin Amundson, Robert Terfehr, Gerhard Ehlert and Reinhart Drewlow.
Carrie Erickson was born at Abercrombie, N.D., June 8, 1883, and was married at Breckenridge, Jan. 27, 1913. The couple farmed near Brushvale and Abercrombie until 1920 when they moved to Kent, Minn. He died in 1944. She was a member of the Breckenridge Lutheran church and had lived in recent years in Wahpeton. She had been hospitalized and resided at the Wahpeton Rehabilitation Center for the past six weeks. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Astor (Mildred) Tellberg, of Kent and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and five brothers
Vertin’s-Wahpeton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
