Mrs. Harry E. (Julia) Lee died Tuesday evening, Jan., 5th, at the home of her sister, Mrs. P. A. Goettelman, in this city. She has been an invalid the past fourteen years and her death was not unexpected. The funeral was held Friday afternoon from the residence, Rev. Meier of the Lutheran church conducting the service.

These from out of town present at the funeral were: Harry E. Lee of Billings, Mont., her husband; E. A. Anderson, Steele, formally of Wahpeton, a brother; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Fatland of Kindred; Mr. and Mrs. Erickson of Walcott; and Mrs. Mae Thompson of Fairmount.

Mrs. Lee was born in Norway in 1866, and came to this country when she was but eight years of age. She was married at the age of 17 to Harry E. Lee, at West Union, Ia., and was the mother of three children, none of whom are living. At the time of her death she was 48 years, 2 months and 21 days old.

For the past fourteen years Mrs. Lee has been an invalid and the years have been spent traveling about the country to various health resorts in search of aid, with several periods of about a year spent with her sister Mrs. Goettelman. She had been here for about four months previous to her death.
