Mrs. Leshovsky
WAHPETON - Mrs. Henry (Nancy) Leshovsky, 85, of Wahpeton died Saturday in St. Francis Hospital. The funeral will be at 2 Tuesday in Vertin's-Wahpeton Chapel with the Rev. Stanley Muller officiating. Mrs. Donald Gripentrog will be the organist and Mrs. Donald Heitmann the soloist. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday afternoon and evening with a prayer service at 7:30 in Vertin's-Wahpeton East Chapel and Tuesday at the Chapel until time of services.
Casket bearers will be grandsons, Dale, Duane and Donald Thimjon, Clarence Leshovsky, James Olson and Albert Romereim.
Nancy Horsman was born July 3, 1887, at Wilmont, S.D., the daughter of Samuel and Ruhema (Burton) Horsman. She was educated in South Dakota. The family lived at Wilmont and White Rock, S.D., and at Browns Valley, Minn. She married Henry Leshovsky Dec. 5, 1906. The couple farmed in DeVillo and Summit Townships before moving to Center Township where she has since resided. He died May 31, 1956. She attended the United Church of Christ.
She is survived by four sons and three daughters, Alvin of Barney, Louis and Mrs. Gordon (Doris) Thimjon, both of Wahpeton, Robert of Doran, Ervin of Seattle, Wash., Mrs. Walter (Edith) Thimjon of Foxhome, Mrs. Leo (Elsie) Pauly of Costa Mesa, Calif.; a brother, Ira, Saskatchewan Canada; 16 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Eva Romereim in 1967; two sisters and four brothers.
