Funeral Services For Mrs. Letteer Held Wednesday
Funeral Services for Mrs. Charles Letteer, aged 79, who died Sunday evening at the home of her son, Ray Letteer on south Fifth Street, were held Wednesday afternoon from the Schmitt & Olson chapel with Rev. has Langdon in charge.
Augusta Schandel was born Set. 18, 1865 in Bloomer, Wis., and spent her girlhood there. She was married to Charles Letteer, who preceded her in death in 1912.
To them were born eight children. Three preceded their mother in death: Emma, Edward and Frances.
Surviving are Ray and Frank Letteer and Mrs. Wm. Weiss of this city, Mrs. Earl Valker, of Breckenridge and Roy Letteer, of Wheaton.
Mrs. Letteer had been in poor health and confined to her home for a long time and had been bedridden the past year.
Interment was made in the family lot in Fairview Cemetery beside her husband and two of the children.
