Obituary
DURWARD LOBERG, AGED 8, DIES EARLY FRIDAY Son of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Loberg Victim of Peritonitis; Funeral Monday
Durward Quinland Loberg, aged 8 years and 8 months, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Loberg of Wahpeton, died Friday morning at the Wahpeton hospital, after an illness of only a few days. Sunday he complained of not feeling well, but was not believed to be seriously ill. Symptoms of appendicitis developed rapidly, however, and at the Wahpeton hospital a ruptured appendix was followed by peritonitis and death.
He was born September 9, 1918, and started his school days in Wahpeton. He was in the third grade of the Wahpeton grade schools. Classmates acted as pallbearers at the funeral services, held at the Schmitt & Olson chapel at 10 o’clock yesterday morning.
Sympathy for the bereaved family is general.
