Obituary
Leo A. Lotzer
Funeral services for Leo A. Lozter, 73, of Hackensack, Minn., formerly of Wahpeton will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Vertin's Wahpeton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Edward J. Krueger officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
Mr. Lotzer died Sunday at St. Luke's Hospital in Fargo.
Visitation will be Tuesday afternoon and evening and Wednesday until the time of services at the chapel.
Leo Lotzer was born July 9, 1901 at Wahpeton to Jacob and Sara Jane (Watson) Lotzer. He grew up and attended schools and was employed Otter Tail Power Co. until 1930 when he went to Spokane, Wash. where he was employed by Inland Paper Co. He retired in 1966 and moved to Hackensack.
Survivors include three nephews, Harvey and Clifford Sanborn of Breckenridge and Roy Sanborn of Fargo; and a niece, DeEtta Braun of Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Edward, Herbert, Robert and William; and two sisters, Marie Sanborn and Edith Lotzer.
Organist will be Mrs. Paul Mumm and vocalist will be Alvin Hepper.
Honorary casket bearers will be Joe Houghtaling, Joseph Overby, Ray Letteer, Wallace Hassel, Louis Prochaska, William Henderson, and Glen Raftevold.
Active casket bearers will be Tom Willemssen, Sherman Houghtaling, Andrew Raftevold, William Quine, Milo Helgeson and James Jones.
