C. E. Lounsbury Dies in Chicago
Former Richland Official To Be Buried Here
Charles E "Ned" Lounsbury, 54, former Richland county states attorney died Wednesday at Chicago. Mr Lounsbury resigned as Richland county states attorney to go to Chicago to practice law. Born in Wahpeton, he was prominent in legal and business circles of the community, being at one time secretary of the Wahpeton Commercial club.
In Wahpeton, he was a member of the law firm of Forbes, Lounsbury and Forbes. He was a member of the firm Dichburne and Lounsbury in Chicago. His father, B F Lounsbury, Richland pioneer, died several years ago in Chicago.
Mr Lounsbury is survived by his wife and two daughters, Mrs. John A. Ponic, and Helen. Funeral services will be conducted here Sunday, arrangements awaiting the arrival of the widow with the ashes.
