B. F. Lounsbury Dies Wednesday
Former Wahpeton Man To Be Buried Here
B. F. Lounsbury, former Wahpeton business man, died at Chicago Wednesday morning. He was about 85 years old. He was making his home with his son. C. E. Ned Lounsbury, for many years state attorney of Richland county.
Mr Lounsbury came to Wahpeton about 50 years ago and engaged in the furniture business, which he sold many years ago and later was the owner of considerable real estate in the county. He is survived by his son and a daughter, Mrs. Mae Wells. The body is to be cremated and the remains brought to Wahpeton for burial in the family lot where Mrs. Lounsbury is buried. Mr. Lounsbury was a member of the Masonic lodge here and of the Congregational church.
Mr. Lounsbury was a former county commissioner of Richland county and at one time served as mayor of the city He belonged to all the Masonic bodies of the city and to the Shrine in Fargo.
