Obituary
Clara Lounsbury-1905
Mrs. Clara Woodhull Lounsbury, wife of Hon. B. F. Lounsbury, died at her home in this city Monday night at half past nine, after a long and painful illness. Mrs. Lounsbury was born in Michigan 45 years ago, and was married to B. F. Lounsbury in Milwaukee in 1883. They moved to Fergus Falls, where they lived until locating at Wahpeton in 1887. Mrs. Lounsbury became a member of the Congregational church early in life, and for many years was very active in church work. She devoted her energies to music, being educated in Cincinnati, and was vey proficient in that art. She taught music in Wahpeton, and for a number of years was connected with the city schools in capacity of instructor in music. The deceased leaves her mother, Mrs. Woodhull, husband, son Ned Lounsbury, and daughter Mrs. May Passage of Minneapolis. The funeral is being held at the residence this afternoon, and is conducted by Rev. Edmands. The interment will be in Fairview cemetery.
