Mary Lund, 77, Wahpeton, died Monday, Aug. 9, 1993, at her home. The funeral service will be Thursday, Aug. 12, at 10:30 a.m. at Verin-Munson Wahpeton Funeral Home East Chapel, with the Rev. Timothy F. Busby officiating.
Marie (Mary) Scharpf was born Nov. 15, 1915, at Sisseton, S.D. She married Ingmar Lund Feb. 10, 1954, in Breckenridge, Minn. Mary and Ingmar resided in the Wahpeton area, where she worked for several families doing housekeeping and yard work. Mary especially enjoyed spending time with her pet dogs, Poodie and Junior.
Mary is survived by a "special friend" Helen Nold, Wahpeton, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ingmar, on June 2, 1992.
