Obituary
Mrs. Mary A. Lerum Called By Death
Mrs. Mary A. Lerum, mother of Mrs. J. Walter Green of this city, died at the Wahpeton Hospital last Tuesday morning, following an operation for gall stones. She had been a sufferer of complications for several years, and entered the hospital last Thursday, in hope that an operation might prolong her life. At the time of her death Mrs. Lerum was 74 years 5 months and 13 days old.
Mrs. Lerum was born in Norway on February 6, 1849. She came to this country when she was 15 years of age, and settled in Wisconsin. Here she was married to Mr. Lerum, who proceeded her to the grave several year ago. She has made her home in this city with her daughter for the past six years.
Funeral services will be held from the Norwegian Lutheran church on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be made at Fairfiew cenetery. Rev. Dahl will officiate.
