Obituary
John Marohl, 71, Funeral Service Here Thursday
John H. Marohl, 71, former resident of the Wyndmere community, died Sunday at Shawano, Wisc. Where he had lived in recent years. Funeral services will be held Tuesday in Wisconsin and at 2 pm. Thursday in the United Brethren Church in Wahpeton. Rev. Walter Elmer will officiate with Vertin Funeral Home in charge. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 13, 1887 in Wisconsin where he attended schools and grew to manhood. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. August Marohl.
He lived on a farm near Wyndmere for several years later returning to Wisconsin where he worked and made his home with a sister, Mrs. Linda Tentzen.
Surviving are four children, all of Wahpeton. They are Palmer and Raymond Marohl, Mrs. Carl (Crystal) Jensen and Mrs. Wm. (Fern) Olsen. He also leaves to mourn his passing ten grandchildren, two sisters and a brother. There is a brother, Walter of Bounduel, Wis. And a sister, Bertha Bloedorn and Linda Tentzen of Shawano.
