Giles Marsh, 74, resident of Wahpeton since 1904, died at his home, here Monday morning following an illness due to the general breaking down of physical forces due to age. Funeral services were held yesterday from the family home, the Rev. Chester L. Dunham officiating. Burial was at Fairview.

Mr. Marsh was born in Lansingburg, N. Y., in 1852. He came to Wahpeton in 1904 and for a time operated a tow mill here. His is survived by his widow, a son, Ross Marsh, of Wahpeton; and a daughter, Mrs. U. J. Hileman, of Milwaukee. Mr. Marsh was well esteemed by a wide circle of friends in Wahpeton. He was honest, home-loving and industrious and had a genial personality that endeared him to many friends. He made a comfortable home here and had built up a good small business. Many friends will regret his passing.
