Obituary
Mrs. Rhoda Marsh Dies Here Friday
Funeral services for Mrs. Rhoda L. Marsh, mother of Ross Marsh of this city were conducted from the Vertin chapel here Monday afternoon. Rev. J. S. Caskey officiated. Mrs. Marsh passed away Friday after an illness lasting two and a half years. Mrs. Marsh had made her home in Wahpeton for the past forty years, coming here from Dell Rapids, S.D. Her husband, G. H. Marsh, passed away here five years ago.
She was a member of the Congregational church and of the Rebekah lodge, being a member of that organization for more than 40 years. Besides Ross Marsh, a son in Wahpeton, a daughter, Mrs. G. Hileman, of Milwaukee, Wis., survives. Two sisters, Mrs. Mary Hewey pf Youngstown, Ohio, and Mrs. Ollie Thompson, also of Youngstown, and brother, Andrew Meuhren, of the same place survived. She was born Dec. 17, 1855 at Canton, Ohio.
Burial was in Fairview cemetery. Pallbearers were: W. L. Divet, Steve Krzyzaniak, Dave Bezenek, W. A. Farnsworth, O.J. Olson, C. M. Comstock and Carl Hoffman.
