FRANCES MAYER DIES AT HER HOME TUESDAY
Funeral Services of 17-year-old Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mayer to Be Tomorrow
The many friends of the Frank Mayer family of south First street, Wahpeton, were grieved at news that Miss Frances, 17 years old, passed away Tuesday, March 30, at the family home, following a long period of ill health. Mr. and Mrs. Mayer and Frances had returned only Saturday from Minneapolis, where Frances was under the care of specialists, who sought to cure her of a complication of diseases.
Frances Mayer was born December 28, 1908, in East Grand Forks, Minnesota. She came to Wahpeton with her parents in 1917, where she had since resided. She was graduated from the grade schools here and was forced to discontinue school work because of ill health. She was formerly a member of a Camp Fire Girls group here and an enthusiastic worker. She was a member of the Degree of Honor, members of which will serve as pall bearers at the funeral services at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon.
The services will be held from Bethel Norwegian Lutheran Church, the Rev. W. B. Dahl officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview cemetery.
The family has the sympathy of the community in their especially sad affliction.
