Obituary
Mrs. H. McChesney Dies Saturday After Long Illness
Mrs. Herman L. McChesney died Saturday morning at 5 minutes to 11 after an illness lasting since May 8th. A stroke was the cause of her death. Funeral services are to be conducted at two Tuesday afternoon from Immanuel Lutheran church with Rev. R. J. Becker officiating and burial will be in Fairview cemetery.
Caroline Zentgraf was born January 20, 1905, at Great Bend, and came to Wahpeton with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Zentgraf 15 years ago. She was married September 13, 1924, to Herman L. McChesney in Wahpeton and to this union were born two children, Lewis and Lorraine, who with their father survive.
Other survivors are: Mrs. McChesney’s father, John J. Zentgraf and five brothers and two sisters, Mrs. D. C. Buck of Wahpeton, George of Fairmount, Robert of arimore, and Joe, J.L, Adolph and Mrs. Fred Buck of Gull Lake, Sask., Canada. John L Zentgraf, of Gull Lake, is here for the funeral.
