Agnes McMichael-1905
Mrs. Robert McMichael died at her home in this city on Sunday, Jan. 8, after a prolonged illness. The deceased, Agnes Matilda Van Egmond was born in Huron, Ontario, in 1845, hence was 59 years of age. She and Robert McMichael were married in Ontario in 1872, and came to Wahpeton 18 years ago. Five children have been born to them, the eldest of whom is Mrs. John Haas of Moorhead. The others reside at Wahpeton, and all were with their mother during her last illness
and death. Besides her immediate family the deceased leaves six sisters, one brother and father who is 93 years of age, all residing in Ontario. Mrs. McMichael was a kind, christian woman and many friends regret her death. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church.
