George Mehl, Old Resident Is Dead Pioneer of Two Cities Answers Final Summons After Short Illness at Home
George Mehl, pioneer of Wahpeton and Breckenridge, 74 years of age, many years engaged as a gardener on the Red River flats between Wahpeton and Breckenridge, died at his home in Breckenridge at 5:30 p. m. Monday, following a short illness. Funeral services were held this morning from St. Mary’s Catholic church at Breckenridge and burial was in Fairview cemetery, Wahpeton. Mr. Mehl was survived by one son and two daughters, Baldwin, Leona and Geraldine, all of whom are at home.
News of his death will be received with regret by many old friends in this section.
