Services For Miss L. Mehl To Be Friday
The funeral for Miss Leorra Maytue Mehl, 73, resident of St. Francis Home, Breckenridge, will be at 10 Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Breckenridge. Rev. Frederick Kampsen officiating.
Miss Mehl died Monday at a local hospital.
Visitation will be Thursday from 1 p.m. through evening with Rosary at 9 p.m. at Jos. Vertin and Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge.
She was born June 24, 1890, to Wahpeton, moved with her parents to Breckenridge as a small girl and grew to womanhood there. She attended St. John’s Catholic School at Wahpeton later attending the Breckenridge Public School.
For 38 years, she made her home with her brother, the Baldwin Mehl family in Breckenridge.
She is survived by one sister Mrs. Walter Abt of Richmond, Mich.
Six pallbearers, all nephews, will be Bernard Mehl, Edward Mehl, George Mehl, Joseph Mehl, Robert Mehl and William Mehl.
She was preceded in death by parents, George and Mary Mehl, two brothers, Leslie and Baldwin Mehl.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Wahpeton.
