Pearl Melberg
Funeral services for Pearl (Mrs. Martin) Melberg, 75, Breckenridge will be 11 a.m. Monday at Bethel Lutheran Church, Wahpeton, with Rev. Marvin L. Hartmann officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Melberg died Thursday in Bismarck at the home of her daughter.
Vocalist for the funeral will be Mrs. Robert Williams and Mrs. Horace Lahren.
Visitation is Sunday afternoon and evening at Vertin's in Wahpeton and one hour prior to services at the church.
She was born June 23, 1896, at Dwight, to Olaus and Christine (Mathieson) Olson. She grew up in Dwight and married David Bezenek. They lived in Wahpeton, where she was employed by Globe Gazette and Wahpeton Hotel.
She moved to Ada, Minn. where she married Martin Melberg. He died in 1971, and she moved to Breckenridge June of this year. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church.
Survivors are two daughters, Beverly (Mrs. Francis) Gerou, Chisholm, Minn., and Phyllis (Mrs. Warren) McNamar, Bismarck; a son, Donald Bezenek, Richville, Minn.; and a brother, Fred Olson of Great Falls, Mont.; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded by her brother Maurice in June of this year.

Old Fairview is located on the southern half of the cemetery grounds.
