Funeral Services Held Thursday Afternoon from Congregational Church
Mrs. Bonita Himrod Mirick died after a brief illness, Monday evening, February 19, 1934 at 7:30 o’clock at her home at 517 Eighth Street North, Wahpeton, N.D. Mrs. Mirick was born March 6th, 1852 at Waterford, Pennsylvania, moving with her family to Kansas in 1888. She was married at Neosho Falls, Kansas, Feb, 1873 to Rev. Edward Mirick who died in Wahpeton, Dec. 6, 1927.
Mrs. Mirick is survived by three children, Lillian of Wahpeton, Grace of Duluth, Minn., and Edward H. of Minneapolis and one grand child, Robert B. Mirick of Minneapolis. She is survived also by two brothers and two sisters, T. B. Himrod of Long Beach, Calif, J.B. Himrod of Oswego, Mont., Dr. Margaret C. Barney of Hot Springs, S.D., and Mrs. E. D. Evans of Seattle, Wash.
Funeral services were held at the First Congregational church at Wahpeton at two-thirty o’clock on Thursday afternoon, Rev. J.S. Caskey officiating. Dr. Charles Phillips of Minneapolis, a personal friend of the deceased assisted in the service.
