MRS. CARL MOHS DIES SATURDAY Funeral Services Will Be Held Tuesday Afternoon from Emanuel Lutheran Church
Funeral services for Mrs. Carl Mohs, age 69, who died Saturday at her home here, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 p. m., from the home and at two o’clock from Emanuel Lutheran church, with Rev. Becker in charge. Mrs. Mohs was born in Hulstein, German on Feb. 11, 1860, coming to this country as a young woman. She and her family lived in the Great Bend vicinity for many years, moving to Wahpeton when her husband retired from farming the years ago. Death followed a brief illness.
Surviving are her husband, six daughters, Mrs. Wm. Tanck, Mrs. Albert Hingst, Mrs. W. C. Gast, Mrs. A. F. Rising, Mrs. George Dupree, and Mrs. W. Gierke; three sons, Gustav, Charlie and John. Thirty grandchildren also survive. One sister, Mrs. Peter Hintgen, lives at Devils Lake. Two daughters preceded Mrs. Mohs in death sixteen years ago.
