Mrs. James Morley Dies On Sunday
Pioneer Wahpeton Woman Passed Away At Home Of Daughter In Breckenridge
Mrs. James Morley, Wahpeton pioneer woman, passed away Sunday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Anderson, in Breckenridge.Mrs. Morley had been in ill health for several months, a broken hip contributed to her fatal illnesses. She is survived by her husband, James Morley, and her daughter, (Jane) Mrs. George Anderson.
Mrs. Morley was 78 years old, coming to Wahpeton 43 years ago with her husband and daughter. She was born February 14in Liverpool, England and was married in England more than a half century ago. Mr. and Mrs. Morley first lived near Pierre, S. D. and then came to Wahpeton where Mr. Morley was connected with the Opera House and later with the Globe-Gazette Printing company.
Mrs. Morley was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and a life member of that body. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2:00 at the home and at 2:30 at the Episcopal church. Rev Walton will officiate.
