Obituary
Arthur Muehler Wahpeton
Arthur C. Muehler, 77, Wahpeton, died Sunday, Nov. 16, 1986, at St. Luke's Hospital, Fargo. The funeral will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wahpeton, with the Rev. Ernest Bartels officiating.
Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens, Wahpeton.
Visitation will be Wednesday afternoon and evening with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Vertin's Wahpeton Funeral Chapel. There will also be visitation at the church prior to the service.
He was born April 7, 1909, at Great Bend to Henry and Anna (Laboda) Muehler. He attended schools in Brandenburg Township, Great Bend, until age 10 when the family moved to Ibsen Township, rural Mooreton, where he continued his education.
He farmed with a brother in Ibsen Township until 1977 when they moved to Wahpeton.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Surviving are four brothers and one sister, Herman, Breckenridge; Richard, Alvin, and Ewald, all Wahpeton; Mrs. 'Orville (Luella) Wefel, Wahpeton.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Edward, who died in 1975.
