Wahpeton woman, Dianne Manning dies Sunday in motorcycle mishap
Funeral arrangements through Vertin's-Wahpeton are pending for Dianne Manning, 20, Wahpeton, who was killed Sunday in a motorcycle mishap.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol the accident occurred at about 7:55 p.m. on I-94 near Lynchburg, N.D. Manning was turning off to a rest area when she apparently lost control of the motorcycle she was driving. It rolled over. She died later that evening at Dakota Hospital, Fargo.
Dianne Carole Manning was born May 8, 1961 to Gary and Janice Manning at Breckenridge. She grew up with the family in Wahpeton. She is a 1979 graduate of Wahpeton High School. She was most recently employed at 3M in Wahpeton in the TelComm Division.
She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Wahpeton. She served on the deaconate board at the church. She was also a Sunday school teacher and was a member of the 3M Club.
Survivors include her parents, two brothers, David, and Dennis, both at home; maternal and paternal grandmothers, Mrs. Hertha Muehler, Hankinson; and Mrs. Helen Manning, Wahpeton.
She was preceded in death by her two grandfathers.
