Obituary
Milton Miller, 45 Dies Tuesday in Local Hospital
Milton A. Miller, 45, died Tuesday morning in a local hospital.
The funeral was Thursday in the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rev. Richard Teucher officiating.
Mr. Miller was born Aug. 29, 1918, at Fairmount, N.D., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Miller.
He was baptized by the late Rev. Klausler in Hankinson in 1918 and confirmed in Fairmount by Rev. Schumacher at the 1st English Lutheran church, July 26, 1933.
He married Mabel Tischer at Hankinson, N.D., Nov 15, 1938.
They farmed at Breckenridge, Minn., until 1942, when he went into construction work. In 1955, he started a produce company but sold it in 1962 due to illness.
He was an active member of the Immanuel Lutheran church in Wahpeton.
Besides his wife, he leaves four daughters, Mrs. Peter (Delores) Differding and Mrs. David (Dorine) Green, both Breckenridge; Mrs. Eugene (Diane) Johnson, Miles City, Mont., and Debra, at home; four grandchildren and three brothers and two sisters, Clarence Miller and Mrs. Frank (Marjorie) Lenzmeier, both Wahpeton: Harris, Oakes, N.D.; Clinton, Lewiston, Idaho, and Mrs. Walter (Adeline) Stibbe, Galesburg, N.D. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1953, and one brother in 1960.
Honorary pallbearers are Floyd Swenson, William Quine, Wally Evenson, Roy Laughridge, Clarence Hooge and Gil Koppelman. Active pallbearers are Larry Miller, Darrel Miller, Miles Miller, Floyd Hauschild, Richard Miller and Gene Lenzmeier.
Interment was held at the Fairview Memorial Gardens, Wahpeton, N.D. Vertin’s Wahpeton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
