Obituary
Mrs. H. Morris Rites Saturday
Mrs. Howard Morris. Sr., a resident of Wahpeton the past four years, died this morning at St. Francis hospital where she had been a patient sine March. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at two o’clock from the Vertin Funeral home with Rev. J. M. Mershon officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens
Alice Mary Klinth daughter of Gustav and Gertrude Klinth was born Jan. 22, 1912, at Galesburg, Ill. She grew to womanhood there, attending school and was married to Howard Morris in 1930.
They continued to reside in Galesburg until 1941 when they moved to Fargo. Mr. Morris is employed by the Great Northern. In 1954, they came to Wahpeton.
Mrs. Morris was a member of the local Legion Auxiliary. She had been in poor health the past 21 months.
She is survived by her husband, Howard R. Morris, Sr., and son Howard, Jr., of Fargo: daughters, Mrs. Dean Atchison of Moorhead and Susan at home. there are six grandchildren.
She leaves three sisters, Mrs. Don Wade, Mrs. Clarence Tipton, Mrs. Robert Ring and a brother, Gust Klinth, all of Galesburg.
