Obituary

Rites Held for Mrs. F. Nunns, Wahpeton, 84

Funeral services were held Wednesday from Foss Methodist church for Mrs. Frank Nunns, 84, Wahpeton, who died Monday at St. Francis hospital in Breckenridge where she had been a patient five weeks.

The Rev. Everett C. H. Owens was officiating clergyman. Mrs. S. C. Lucas was vocalist and Mrs. F. D. Brown was organist.

Mrs. Frank (Valeria) Nunns was born at Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, July 17, 1877, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Mayer.

When she was 15 years old, the family moved to Hartley, Iowa. She was married to Frank Nunns Dec. 22, 1896.

They moved to the Dwight vicinity in 1907, Mr. Nunns died in 1936.

Following his death, Mrs. Nunns moved to Wahpeton where she resided at 420 7th St. N. Mrs. Nunns was a member of the Dwight Aid and a member of her church circle.

Survivors include two sons; Herald of Wahpeton and Frederick of Honolulu, Hawaii; two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Lyda) Bondy and Mrs. E. L (Eleanor) Dybdal, both of Great Falls; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren; One brother, A. L. Mayer, Spirit Lake Iowa also survives.

Pallbearers were: Leroy Jost, Ray Ward, George Ruddy, Fred Brown, Frank Domm, and Charles DeMesy.

Interment was at Fairview cemetery. Vertin’s-Wahpeton was in charge of arrangements.
