Harry Nash Dies Sunday

Harry M. Nash, 77, of Wahpeton died Sunday at the Wahpeton Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be at 2 Wednesday in the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Wahpeton with Pastor David Jarnes officiating. Mrs. E. R. Wasemiller will be the organist and C B. Cummins, the vocalist. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens at Wahpeton.

Pallbearers will be Palmer Pederson, Harry Larsen, David Erickson, Dr Charles Krassin, Ernest Johnson and Donald Morford.

Visitation will be Tuesday afternoon and evening at Vertin’s-Wahpeton Funeral Home and at the church Wednesday prior to services.

Mr. Nash was born July 20, 1892, at Sioux Falls S.D., the son of Samuel and Addie Nash.

He attended school there and married Hazel Frances Mann Dec. 15, 1913, at Sioux Falls. The couple resided in Sioux Falls and he was employed by Sears Roebuck and Company and in other retail stores there.

He was a lifelong resident of Sioux Falls until his retirement in January 1967 when the couple moved to Wahpeton and resided at 524 4th Avenue North. They moved to the Wahpeton Retirement Center in July 1969.

He is survived by his wife, who resides at the Wahpeton Retirement Center; one son, Marshall of Bellevue, Wash., and one brother, Alpha Nash, of Parker, S.D.

He was preceded in death by six brothers.

The Garden of the Christus is located in the Memorial Gardens, which comprises the northern half of the cemetery.
