Mrs. N. Nelson
DWIGHT - Mrs. Norman B. (Susanna) Nelson, 57, of Dwight died Tuesday. The funeral will be at 2 Friday in Vertin's-Wahpeton Chapel with the Rev. Norman Sincebaugh of Hankinson officiating. Laurel Evenson will be the organist and Steve Wasteland the vocalist. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Thursday afternoon and evening with a prayer service at 8 p.m. at Vertin's-Wahpeton Funeral Home.
Casket bearers will be Art Ouren, Selmer Ness, C. E. Kielb, Bob Dietz, Reuben Olson and Raymond Evenson.
Susanna Friday was born Aug. 5, 1914, at Dwight, the daughter of William and Bertha (Osmundson) Friday. She was educated there and married Norman Nelson July 5, 1934. The couple lived at Dwight and were employed for a time by Harry Sparrow and later by the Dwight school. Her husband died in 1964.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Benjamin (Evelyn) Grundy of Chelan, Wash., Mrs. Floyd (Lois) Miller of Hankinson, Mrs. John (Gladys) Vanderwerff and Betty, both of Dwight; a brother, Irvin Friday of Dwight; and nine grandchildren.
