Obituary
L. C. Olson Dies At Home Here
Lawrence C. Olson, Center St., in Wahpeton, died at his home at 4:12 Wednesday afternoon. Funeral services will be conducted from the Church of God at 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon and burial will be in Fairview cemetery; Rev. V. Mundell will officiate. Lawrence Olson was a retired farmer, born February 25 1864 in Nasne, Norway. He was married to Ameila Peterson at Nasne, May 26, 1869, and came to this this country in 1900 settling on their farm 14 miles northwest of Lidgerwood. In 1923, they retired and have made their home in Wahpeton since that time.
Surviving are his wife and children: Andrew of Milwaukee, Mrs. Sern Mailing of Wahpeton, Mrs. Roy Cuff of Wahpeton, Arnold of Wahpeton, Ben of Wahpeton, Mrs. Walter Schmidt of Wahpeton, Perry of Breckenridge and Mrs. Ralph Christopherson of Wahpeton.
The body will lie in state at Vertin Funeral chapel here in Wahpeton until Friday afternoon.
