Mrs. Clara Olson Dies At Fergus
Funeral Services for Former Clara J. Brandon To Be Conducted On Saturday
Mrs. Clara Olson, a well known resident of Fergus Falls and this community; died Wednesday evening, March 20, at her home at Fergus Falls.
Mrs. Olson’s maiden name was Clara J. Brandon. She was born, July 22, 1890 in Wilkin county, the daughter of Charles and Julia Brandon. She moved with her parents and family to a farm in North Dakota and lived in North Dakota until 1928. Her marriage to William T. Olson took place July 10, 1915 in North Dakota. In 1928 Mr. and Mrs. Olson and their five children moved to Fergus Falls.
Delores, LaVonne and Dorothy resided at home with their mother in Fergus Falls. Others surviving are two sons, Russell A. Olson of Wahpeton and Delno F. Olson of Fergus Falls,and one grand daughter, Mary del Olson also her age mother, Mr. Julia Brandon. Three sisters and two brothers surviving are: Mrs. Sidney (Anna) Chandler, Sask., Canada; Mrs. Elmer (Agnes) Jacobson, Wahpeton, Clarence Brandon, Malta, Mont.; and Leo Brandon, Sask., Canada and many another relatives and friends.
A short funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 o’clock at the Benson Chapel at Fergus Falls, followed by services at Wahpeton where interment will be made.
