Mrs. Harold Osen Dies Thursday
Wife of Proprietor Of Wahpeton Floral Co.
Mrs. Harold Osen, wife of the proprietor of the Wahpeton Floral company, passed away Thursday morning at 1:15 at her home following a severe heart attack. She had not been in ill health until recently and her death was sudden and unexpected.
Johanna Solheim was born Sept 1, 1881, at Forde, Sondfjord, Norway, and was married June 3, 1912, at Moosejaw, Canada, to Harold Osen. They made their home at Ortonville, Minn., until in September, 1915, when they came to Wahpeton.
She was an active member of the Baptist church in Breckenridge, being a deaconess of the church as well as active in missionary work and in the Baptist Borean Bible class.
She is survived by her husband and daughter, Mrs. Edward Hepokoski (Agnes) of Menahga Minn., and a grandson Mark Edward. Her husband daughter were with her at the time of her death. Brothers and sister who survive are Mrs. Henry Osen, Wahpeton and Oletta Solheim, Paulina Solheim, Maria Solheim, and Martinus Solheim, all in Norway, and a nephew, Martin Solheim lives in St. Paul.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Baptist church in Breckenridge Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Rev. Alexander Hoirus will officiate. Schmitt & Olson are in charge.
