Mrs. Henry Osen Dies Saturday At Manahga, Minn
Funeral Tuesday at Cong’l Church For Local Resident
Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Osen, aged 71, who died Saturday afternoon at Menahga, Minn., where she was visiting a niece, will be held Tuesday afternoon at two o’clock at First Congregational church with Rev. S. G. Schick officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Anna Christine Solheim was born February 27, 1879 in Norway. She came to this country in 1906 and took employment in Chicago. She came to Wahpeton to help in the home of her sister, the late Mrs. H. Osen, when the latter was expecting a baby and while here met Henry Osen. Her marriage to him took place December 10th, 1925.
The couple lived on a farm near Wahpeton for many years, retiring and moving into Wahpeton later. They celebrated their silver wedding last winter.
Mr. and Mrs. Osen were on a vacation trip and were ready to leave the home of their niece in Menahga for Wisconsin when Mrs. Osen was suddenly stricken. Surviving in addition to Mr. Osen are three sisters, Pauline Saagheim, Aletta and Marie Solheim, in Norway; a nephew, Martin Solheim in Minneapolis and her nieces, Mrs. Edw. Hepokoski of Menahga.
