Funeral Held For Miss Otto On Monday
Center Township Resident Dies At Home Thursday
Funeral services for Miss Gertrude Mary Otto, who died Thursday afternoon at the Otto farm in Center township, were held this afternoon from Immanuel Lutheran church. She had been in failing health the past seven months.
Miss Otto was born in Richland county Dec 5, 1893, the daughter of Carl and Elizabeth Otto pioneers of this area.
She attended local schools and made her home with her brothers and sister. She is survived by three brothers and six sisters, all of Center township. They are the Misses Harriet, Frances, Valeska, Anetta, Odelia and Elfrida Otto; Arthur, Ernest and Awalt.
Pallbearers were Henry Holthuson, Herb Hodel, Al Funfar, Dick Deede, Waldemar Fenske and Robert Matt.
