Obituary
A. J. Otto, 53, Center Farmer, Dies Wednesday
Awalt John Otto, Center township farmer, died Wednesday at the farm Home near Wahpeton following a heart attack. He was 53 years old
Funeral service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Congregational Church here with Rev. Frank Hirons officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery with Vertin Funeral Home of handling arrangements. The body will lie in state preceding the service.
Born in Center Township on Nov 13 1902, the son of Carl and Elizabeth Otto, he attended schools and grew to manhood in this area. He had lived on the family farm all of his life with his brothers and sisters. He had never married.
Surviving are a brother, Ernest and six sisters, Harriet, Frances, Valeska, Annetta, Odelia, and Efrica, all live on the family farm. His parents, a sister, Gertrude and a brother, Arthur preceded him in death.
