Funeral services for Margaret Ann (Mrs. Peter) Onchuck, 71, of Wahpeton, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wahpeton, with Rev. Edward J. Rutter officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Mrs. Onchuck died Tuesday at St. Francis Hospital.

Organist for the service will be Stanley Strege, and music will be provided by the church Ladies Choir.

Honorary casket bearers are Walter McIlwain, Robert Matt, William Lundgren, Herman Wahler, Herman Radig and Henry Steffens.

Active casket bearers are Harry, Elmer, Edmund, Donald and Earl Hohenstern and Vernon Brosowski.

Visitation is Thursday afternoon and evening at Vertin's Wahpeton.

Mrs. Onchuck was born July 2, 1902, at Stargard, Germany, to Gustav and Anna (Braun) Lenz. In 1928, she came to the Mantador area. She married Peter Onchuck April 20, 1929, near Mantador. They farmed there, then moved to Mooreton and later to Wahpeton.

Mrs. Onchuck was a 4-H leader, a member of Immanuel Church, and a member of the church's sewing circle and Ladies Aid.

Survivors include her husband, Peter; a daughter Arlene (Mrs. Louis) Krueger, Rothsay; two sons, Willard and Gerald, rural Wahpeton; 18 grandchildren; and a sister Eva, Germany. She was preceded by her parents, a brother and a granddaughter.
